Staff Selection Commission/SSC Recruitment of Sub Inspectors in Delhi Police and Central Paramilitary Forces 2014.

SSC always invites application for Sub Inspectors  or inspectors and now came with a total 2892 posts of Sub Inspectors and Asst. Sub Inspectors in Central Armed Police Forces, including Delhi Police, CRPF, ITBP, CISF, BSF, and SSB. Out of the total no of posts 1100 are for unreserved categories and about 10% are reserved for female candidates.

Last Date of Application: Eligible candidates can sent application through offline or online mode before 11 April 2014. The recruitment process would include a written test followed by medical examination and physical endurance test and interview.

Fee: Applying candidates should pay application fee of Rs.100/- by way of Central Recruitment Fee Stamp obtained from post offices across the country - which should be cancelled at the obtaining post office clearly the date stamp at issuing post office. Online applicants can either use SBI challan downloaded from SSC website to deposit the fee or make online payment using e-payment mode.

SC/ST, Women candidates and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from making the fee payment.

Written Examination will be held on 22 June 2014 (Paper-1) &  21 Sept 2014 (Paper-2) at centers under respective SSC Regional Office opted by candidates.

Educational Qualification: Bachelors Degree from a recognized University. Male candidates for Delhi Police should have valid driving license for motor cycles and cars). Candidates should have prescribed physical standards.

Pay & Allowances:
Sub Inspectors in Central Armed Police Forces: Rs.9300-34800/- in PB-2 with GP Rs.4200/-
Sub Inspectors in Delhi Police: Rs.9300-34800/- in PB-2 with GP Rs.4200/- classified Group-C of Delhi Police

Asst Sub Inspectors in CISF: Rs.5200-20200 in PB-2 with GP:2800/- abd ckassufued as Group-C.

Age limit: 25-25 years for SI post in Delhi Police & ASI post in CAPFs (for General, external candidates). For Sub Inspectors in CAPFs available as per govt order. 

SC/ST: 5 years
OBC: 3 years
